Globosome: Path of the Swarm

Description

Globosome: Path of the Swarm is an exploratory action adventure for iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch. In Globosome, players take on the role of a dark little dot that replicates into a swarm by feeding on its natural environment. The swarm enables the player to accomplish tasks that would be impossible alone.

History

Globosome is based on the computer animated short film by Sascha Geddart, whom we got to know during our studies at the Filmakademie Baden-Wuerttemberg. The film asks in which way humans are different from bacteria in a petri dish. Surely we have culture, science and art but what does remain of these achievements if you look at our world from a global perspective? We wanted to put this question in the hands of the player and figure out ways in which he can find some answers or even more questions on his own...
